methanol sources in Maine?

Post by Diesel_Rabbit »

Anyone know of methanol sources in Maine?

Just completing my appleseed processor and ready to produce, as soon as i find the above. contacted local race track, do not use. Local truck stop sells in retail jugs at $9/gallon, very expensive.

Try here http://www.murphysmachines.com/resource ... html#maine
I get mine from a local auto parts store who services the local racers.
$159.00 for a 55 gal drum here in Michigan.

If you are near Portland, stop in at Positive Energy (behind the Maine Turnpike Authority offices at 420 Riverside, you'll see the bright green 50 gallon drums and diesel VWs and Mercs)--they are gearing up to do commercial quantities of biodiesel. Jarmin, the cool owner, should be able to give you some local suppliers.
