I need a .30 over piston

Post by bertcarrier »

Anyone have a .30 over piston for a 1.6 diesel laying around?

Thanks!

FWIW, if you're looking for only one piston, you must make sure the weight of the one replacement piston matches that of the other pistons in the motor or you will have an unbalanced motor and it will shake pretty bad. If in doubt, replace as a full set.
Everybody else lists their cars here - but not me.

I don't think there is any .030 for the 1.6 engines, even when the Bentley talks about them, I think you have to go .020 on the first cut and then straight to .040 for the second cut/oversize...
