I need tires and thought these looked better than my steel wheels, but will they fit?

I think that I found that they are a 14X6J width. Anybody know if that works?

14x6 will work for sure, same size as GTI Snowflakes. Cabrio had the same 4x100 lug bolt pattern as the rabbits. That just leaves the offset which I can't imagine would be different enough to matter.

Yep they will fit, and will look a lot nicer than your steelies too.

Ziptar you're in Winchester? That's right near where I spend a lot of my time... I go to Tufts Univ, down in Medford, but often run or ride my bike up around the top of Upper Mystic Lake, right into Winchester. Beautiful area. So much salt on the roads in the winter, though... I had my Rabbit out east one winter, but am leaving it in Seattle from now on. Guess there's a reason you don't see too many old intact Rabbits with rust-free undercarriages driving around New England...

I have a set just like that I put on my 85 Jetta. I think they call them flyers or flying and the where on MK3 Jettas, Golfs and Cabbys. I think they look real good on a MK2.

I seen some on a Fox in the boneyard. I don't think they came on them from the factory. I thought about getting them but I found some snowflakes for $80 with cracking tires and no center caps.
