mixing hydraulic fluid with diesel

I have a good source of clean hyd fluid from work. I was considering mixing hyd and diesel for fuel. Has anyone used this blend before? Could I damage my engine?

I suppose it would add to the lubricity of the fuel. But I don't think it would be wise to run a high percentage of this in your diesel fuel.

Did you ever go ahead and run this fluid yet? What did you mean by "clean?" Did you mean new or used fluid?
How did/are you going about filtering the fluid?
I have found that running up to 50% is a "go." This was posted in another pickup truck forum. BUT, I am trying to determine what filtering process is adequate to avoid any pump, injector, cylinder/piston damage.
