So i installed a 1.9 na into my van to replace the 1.7 l .Ihaven't installed the dipstick yet, and so just dumped what the old motor used-4 liters. Could it be that the larger motor with hydralic lifters has a higher oil capacity? If so how much ?

I just found a wiki on club 80-90 uk about shortening the dipstick tube. So apparently i'm not stupid or crazy.

When i put the exact amount called for ,it comes to the bottom line, as if it's missing another liter.
