My '83 diesel vanagon won't start. Simple as that. It did run fine and now it don't. All the timing should be spot on. Any suggestions on where I should start?
Thanks

Hey Andrew,
I've read alot of your posts and you seem to know your stuff.
So the van did run a couple weeks ago, but it wouldn't restart once warmed up. Now it won't start at all. So the stop solenoid should be ok right? I just replaced the glow plugs. There is fuel in all my see through fuel lines. Except for some air in the returns on the injectors. And the cranking speed seems fine untill the battery dies, which I end up recharging every time.
Am I missing anything? Could the injectors be clogged?
Thanks a bunch

From the sounds of what you've already done the next thing I'd do is pull the four injectors. While the injectors are out, have someone turn the key to on and visually see if the glow plugs are working, then test compression. It's also a good time to have the injectors tested. That process rules out a lot of potentials.
