I check it with the engine both hot and cold. When it's cold, it will twist past 45 degrees, but at full temp, it will not.

I took video of the engine running with the belt cover off, to see how much the belt flapped around when running. Turns out, pretty much doesn't move around at all. I think I'm pretty happy with where it's at in terms of tension based on what I see here, but if someone else feels differently I'm all ears...

Thanks for all the help with this.

Thanks -- if you weren't 1500 miles away I'd consider it... but I feel OK about the tension at this point so I'm good. Appreciate the offer.

That video made my day. I love the smell of diesel in the morning. I don't know why the wife doesn't feel the same. The clatter seems to have woke her up. I'm starting the day behind on browny points.

It's small and light and would be cheap to ship; I imagine under $10 round-trip in a box via USPS. Consider it a standing offer!

I would try Jack, the owner of this forum. If he doesn't have one to sell, I got mine off that well known online auction site.
Everybody else lists their cars here - but not me.
