VW Eurovan, Transporter T4 1,9 Turbo diesel $9500 Monona,Wi

Post by picivizipaci »

For sale:
1993 VW Eurovan, Transporter T4
1,9 Turbo diesel
This is the exact copy of the european one, where this is the most popular van.
Yes we have in Europe: 1,9D and 1,9TD eurovan (26-30mpg).
This used to be a gas van but I converted into diesel, I did it for fun.
1; I'm a mechanic from Europe and I'm dealing with VW in my entire life.
2; I'm not planning to educate on how You swap engines, so please don't ask. Thanks.
I'm a very helpful guy, but the whole swap is pretty difficult. The buyer will have the complete paper work.
3; You can buy basically all parts here in USA ( very cheap ), what You can not buy here are the engine mount, brackets, some hardwares those actually won't ever go bad ( how could go bad a 6 pound cast iron part :) ), but You will need it if you want it to be perfect.
The swap was very detailed meaning: the glowplug relay was installed ( not some push button ), power steering is working, engine tachometer is working, cold start cable (original VW ) etc...

The body had 124k miles, no rust, has some ding but nothing major.

Rebuild:
-complet 1,9Td engine every parts basically new, oversize pistons, head, timing belt, all seals, oilpump, reserviced crankshaf, new main and rod bearings,
waterpump, thermostat, oilpan etc ( very detailed complete rebuild job )
-all cv joint ( inner, outer, both side)!!

NEW:
-serpentine belt
-clutch
-clutch Release/Throwout Bearing
-clutch slave cylinder
-complete new exhaust with passive catalytic converter!!
-lower ball joints (both side)
-upper ball joints (both side)
-tie rod assembly (both side, not just end!!)
-steering rack boots ( both side )
-all fluid!! brake, cooling, tranny, steering etc
-alignment

The van drives how it should drive, no strange noise, no smoke etc.
All tires are ok, all brake disk and drums are reserviced!
AC complete removed.
The windshield is broken but I already ordered new, when it is done I'm taking for undercoating work, after so many hours put in I would like to protect it.
This van (at this point) costs a lot to me ( just parts ) + million and million hours!! I'm asking $9500/obo now, this includes 5000 miles warranty!!!
Just think about it!!! So far I do not know anybody who has a 1.9TD Eurovan, You can be the first!!! By the way to install the used vegetable oil kit is easy.
If You would like to test drive pls let me know.
