tdi longevity
I'm considering a <a href="http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/cto/1 ... .html">'96 passat tdi</a> (with Greasecar kit and add-ons) for sale. It has 217,000mi, but seems like it's probably been well taken care of. How long can one expect a well-maintained tdi to last? How long have some of you guys run yours?

Re: tdi longevity
Well taken care of with grease car kit may be a contradiction.
They'll go along time. Expect to learn the car and maintain it yourself.
