Injector pump accelerator arm

Post by fujiapple402 »

Ok so me in all my infinite wisdom decided to swap out my injector pump with what i thought to be a rebuilt used one (turns out wasnt rebuilt). I believe the pump was off a rabbit and didnt realize the accelerator levers were not the same. So again me being really smart decided to just witch them from my old vanagon one to the "new" pump. well now my problem is I have no idea where the lines on the accelerator arm are supposed to line up with so it doesnt want to drive, I can get it running but it revs 3 to 4. If any one could clue me in on how to set this it would be greatly appreciated and if you had a picture that would be even better, Thanks!

Welcome to the forum. This topic has recently been discussed in the general area of the forum. You may have your throttle bracket installed on the throttle arm wrong (coming out of the injector pump). Read this post and see if anything there helps your situation.
