Thanks DanHoug! I've been wondering what to use in the ultrasonic cleaner that isnt flamable. I had not even considered Purple Power. What a great idea :)

I'm using a pound of Gulf canning paraffin to ten gallons of diesel in the warm months, and two stroke oil from the HazMat facility at the landfill (free) in the winter.
The engine is noticeably quieter on the paraffin, but I can't tell any difference on the two stroke oil.

i've been using 1/4 lb per 5 or 10 gallons with WVO... makes for a nice soft ignition at hwy speed. still raps at low speed.

one injector is rapping on diesel when cold... loosened the injector nuts one at a time and found #2 to be the offender. i need to rebuild a spare and i think i'll set the pop on that one at about 200 psi higher than the others just to cure it for good.
