I need a baffle plate to go inside my valve cover on my '82 1.6L diesel motor.

You can usually get them new from the dealer for 20 bucks. Or you can go to a scrap yard and pull one from a later motor. I think they came standard in the gas engines too in the A2s. I know they did in the diesels.

Yeah. I'm not certain what years came with them from the factory, but I know 90 and 91 did. The baffle is the same across all the 8v gas motors as well.

If you find one you may want to drill a funnel sized hole in it right under where you put the oil in. Helps a ton.
