Rear Defroster

I'm preparing for the winter....(thats why all these questions)
My rear defrosters seems quite underpowered/really slow compared to other cars i've owned. Is there anyway to boost the power to the rear defroster?

You might try cleaning the connector to which the wire attaches. Perhaps that will make a difference. For what its worth, my defroster also is incredibly slow. To remedy the problem I have cleaned out my garage.

You could try connecting a car battery in the boot direct to the window connector. If this improves it; then lay a heavier gauge wire from the relay.

My rear demist only has two working lines!
