I recently picked up a '79 Rabbit and am working on getting it up to snuff. The local parts availability is non-existent. Here's a list of what I'm currently looking for.
driver's side front roll-up window
antenna
passenger side front door trim
passenger side rear corner trim
front bumper right side rubber impact strip
dark brown dash in good shape
little shelves for either side of the rear hatch cover
dark brown carpet rear hatch cover
Let me know what you have and how much shipped to 86001. Probably most important is the driver's side window in order to keep weather out. I'm sure I'll think of more as the project gets under way.

Re: WTB: '79 Rabbit Parts
What kind of trim is that?
Black or chromeish edge?
Is this a 2-door or 4?
Good luck on a dash that's not cracked.
I have heard good things about a cabby dash swap but haven't tried it, ha.

It's a 4-door. It's black and chrome. I'll post a pic when I have a chance. I saw that there are dash pads available for $40ish and dash covers for $100.
