Perfect IDI project but vehicle needed

So after having my Caddy rust out and getting rid of it then having a Tracker with a TDI and a trans going bad and in desperate need of transportation so I had to get rid of it. So to my main topic, I am wanting to get back into a VW diesel and where I work I have a perfect product for a 1.5 or 1.6 L Diesel to boost it. I have been working for Eaton for the past year (in a few days) in the supercharger division and i would love to build a supercharged diesel. The problem is that I dont have a VW laying around anywere. so if anyone can help me find a car/caddy that is in running or near running shape I would be interested in purchasing or working out some sory of a deal.

check out akron ohio and columbus ohio craigslist saw a few listings on there for decent looking vwdiesels.
