WTB 11mm rebuildable 1.6 engine with or without head
Looking for a cheap 1.6 to rebuild for my dasher wagon I live in cavalier north dakota. I have a very new 11mm 1.5 head tuat i plan to use on it so head not critical just must be a good crack free block.

We have a few blocks down here.
I'm sure Bill would sell you one,.. I think he has one that "just needed a head" and had a head in the '81 Rabbit when he bought it. The car was parted. Engine is stacked inside with the rest.
He even has some good running ones with rusty bodys attached so you can hear them run and drive them home.
Mk1 '84 rabbit or '82 jetta
and '85 MK2 golf
$1000 drive them away.

A 1.5 head on a 1.6 block will result in raising the compression significantly.
