I drilled/tapped some in-bolts to fit a 1/8" barb for vacuum gauge tubeing.
If you are going to install a vacuum gauge on the fuel line this would be a great place to start..
I'd have to have $10 for one, plus shipping.
I probably have the rest of the fittings too.

Right, it's snazzier than Teeing it into the line.

The mK2s have a banjo on the return with a 3/16" barb
but the MK1s have a 1/4" barb,..
talking 'bout that banjo with the extra 1/8" barb for the return line.

Which do you want?

Buying a pump from Andrew? Sounds like you have plenty of money... :D

I'll start gathering some fittings.

mk2 fittings. yea its kind of a splurge on a pump from him. I just figure instead of wasting my time concocting and mtdi pump myself ill just buy a drop in and get on with it.

...and yet the value for the cost is incredible. Price out a brand-new Bosch pump and then add on the R+D, parts, labor and machine work to make it work right for a VW TDI...
