Hello,
Recently I bought a converted gas now 1.6 NA diesel Vanagon.
Winter is setting in and I am used to using the standard VW cold start lever for faster starts.
The person who converted the Vanagon didnt put a cold start cable in.
Any ideas of where I can get a long cable for the final touch?

Re: Cold Start Lever
I couldn't find a long enough one, although there must be a n/a diesel one available from the dealer or otherwise. I got a volvo push/pull from my VW guy. Long enough to mount just under the lip of the rear seat, through the firewall and into the engine compartment. Once I'm warmed up, I ask a rear passenger to push the cable in or do it myself at a red light.
