Riviving this thread. I accidentally gouged a small hole(maybe 2mm) in the oil seal flange sleeve(passenger side, the green one) while trying to remove the seal. Is this sleeve removable to replace?

Dunno if it comes out easily. I would probably seal damage that small with RTV. IIRC, the case is vented, so there isn't pressure worth mentioning.
Have a nice day.

I'm with Tyler, RTV that puppy.

Surface prep is critical, clean all traces of gear lube with alcohol or acetone first.

Thanks for the help guys. I was thinking of siliconing it. I would still like to know if it comes out or not.

Has anyone replaced the green sleeve on these transmissions? Mine is leaking pretty good now after driving for a week or so. I'm going to try to silicone the hole and hope that stops it.
