Gas to diesel mtdi swap tacho doesnt work.

I've got my project all buttoned up with a few minor glitches
My tach wont work. We feel we have isolated it to the alternator as I tested the cluster on my 91 td and it worked it was just off because of vbelt instead of serp. I have 120 amp alt.. it charges but either w terminal not working or my circuit from alt to tach is wrong I have wire run from alt to fuse box via Plug A2/06 according to a2 resource that's where w terrminal plugs in. any suggestions would be great. cluster is from 93 aaz car is 92 formerly a 16v. could diodes be blown on the alt perhaps?

I rekon if it charges, the diodes are ok.
