Can N/A injector pump with altitude compensator be modified

Post by yogmuney »

I have an injection pump from a 89-92 N/A golf. It has an altitude compensator on it that I thought was for boost enrichment. Can it be easily modified to work the same as a TD pump?

Thanks,

yes just simply hook a boost line to the top most port on the aneroid. a bolt and banjo from a cis injector line works great. or the neccesary bolt and banjo barb can be purchased at the dealer for 20 dollars.

Running that setup on a ECO TD engine. No problemo.

Camplates verified as same, plunger diameter same as TD pump.
Have a nice day.
