vw 1.6 Diesel block and head

I have a vw 1.6 diesel block and head for sale. It is a 1985, don,t know how miles is on it, but the engine spin free and the head is in good shape. Lot of pulley and bracket to go with the engine. Been in the corner of garage for over a year and it time to go. I have two picture to show, if you want to look at it. Asking 100.00 dollar. I live in O'fallon Mo. 63366

Hydrolic head so it's probably late '86 or later.
What's the block code?

Pully/bracket pics?

I found the block number 068103021AC/011 and the head number is 068103373D
and the head is a HYD lifter.
So from this I am not sure what year it is.

The block code should start with 2 letters.
It's on that flat spot by cylinders 1 and 2.

I look and there other number LPH D 6 R12
ME 035 942
and on the bottom there a date 26-1-89
will these number help tell what year this block is

The ME block code looks to be made from 1986 to 1992. From the Jan 26, 1989 (26-1-89) date on the block, I think this answers when the block was cast.
