WTB - lug bolts for 80's Rabbit/Cabrio with aluminum wheels

Post by 82vdub »

Looking for the lug bolts for the factory aluminum wheels that came on 80's Rabbits and Cabriolets, and possibly Jetta's if they were the same. According to my research, they are a M12x1.5mm thread, 22mm thread length with a ball seat. Anyone have a used set they want to part with?

I don't have a used set but I have a Dorman part number for these if you would like it.

I recent found that Costco (that is if you have Costcos in Green Bay) tire center sells lug bolts for a great price. Hope it helps.

Thanks for the ideas. The cheapest dorman's I've found have been $55 to my door, minus the trim caps which are about $15 to my door. I'm trying to locate a set that's a little less than this.

We do have a Costco in Green Bay. I'll have to go take a look and see what I can find (when I can borrow an access pass).

Usually the tire center has a separate entrance so you can always just stop in. Obviously to make the purchase you'd have to have the membership or know someone who does.
