glow plugs

glow plugs
i have to change the glow plugs in my pickup....the car came with a new set...is there any way to tell if these are the 7 second plugs or the wait forever?...and same with the the relay...how do i know if the relay is for the fast plugs...can you tell by the numbers on it?

The fast glows have a tapered tip.
The old slow glows have straight sides all the way to the rounded end.
You have to hit the key and see how long the yellow light stays on to see if the relay is fast or slow.
What brand of glow plugs came with the car?
Duraterms came handle slow or fast.

thanks guys...i got it going...one of the wires in the relay plug pushed out when i plugged the relay in...i stuck it back in and it starts in 2 seconds when cold in the morning
