Blinking Glow Plug light.

Last Wed we had a wet snow storm here. On my way home from work the glow plug light started to blink about half of the 40 mile trip. I was hoping that it would reset it self after I shut it off, but it didn't. As soon as I put the key in the ignition it would start to blink, even trying it the next morning. Sat. I wiggled all three sending unit plugs before starting it. Everything went back to normal. Has anyone else had this problem? I hope this can help someone else if it happens to them.

You might still have a water-separator (aka air-leaker) back by the fuel tank. The signal to empty it is the blinking GP indicator. Most folks get rid of them, as they get brittle, crack and leak air.

If the leaker has already been removed, I'd check the wires for a short.

Any water leaks around the dash? If so, it could also be a damp glow plug relay.

I took the water separator out. But it was a very slushy day and a long ride home. I'll check the connections.
No water around the dash that I seen or know off
