WTB- Rotary Vane Vacuum PUmp

Post by QuantumDave »

Hi guys,
looking to upgrade a 1.5 in a 79 Dasher to the rotary vac pump as I'm getting tired of replacing the diaphragm every 3-5 months.
The ones I have are for a TDI and will not fit. Let me know what you've got and shipping to 03860 N. Conway NH, Thanks.

That car taught me quite a bit.

Read this thread as all vacuum pumps aren't created equal, or may not interchange. The bottom gear is/may be different and this could require a bottom gear change from pump to pump, or possibly a different oil pump or oil pump drive shaft to swap to the newer type of pump.

Everybody else lists their cars here - but not me.

I have too many to count
