Fuel Separation Systems
What are the benefits of fuel separation systems like Fass Fuel in diesel vehicles? Can this be used in VW diesel cars?

Just my opinion, but I think the stock vw filter is pretty good size for such a small engine.
Fuel line restrictions and loose connections are the main causes of air bubbles.
Particles are usually rust from the tank - if it's real bad just replace the tank cause it will just keep clogging stuff up.
An easy mod is to use a clear pre-filter (from 80's mercedes diesels) before the main filter. Cheap, easy to change, you can even spray em out backwards and reuse. https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.ph ... 42&jsn=319
Seems like overkill for a vw diesel, and would be a pain to mount; But hey, if you want to go the distance... looks like an awesome fuel filter system.
