Just one other question...
In terms of pressure rating, is there
any difference between the n/a metal
injector lines and the turbo injector
lines?
In other words can I use an old metal
injector line from an n/a for the pop
tester when I plan to test TD injectors?
Merci beaucoup, tout le monde.
Does anyone know how to build an injector tester?

Sorry to be a nuisance, but I was just wondering...
Would it be feasible, on the "Tee" fitting, to just
buy a plug, drill and tap it for a check valve,
(minus the internals) from the head of a junked
inj. pump, then simply attach the injector line?
That would obviate the necessity of cutting and
flaring the old injector line and hunting about for
an appropriate nut.
Any reasons why this couldn't be done (rare and
unobtainable thread on the check valve, for example)?
Just thinking in print.

Hey you're not being a nuisance... you're thinking about different ways to do things... exactly what is needed IMHO.
When I built mine I thought about this approach... in the end it was easier for me to get a standard flare nut and flare the end of a short piece of injector tubing then it was to find a tee fitting with enough "meat" once I drill it out for the appropriate threads on the check valve (a tap for which I was not able to locate at the time).
Either approach should be fine... mostly a matter of what you have on hand. The only down-side I see to your suggestion operationally is the long and convoluted nature of the entire length of stock injector hose... just having a short length that points straight down into the pickle jar is a plus for my space-constrained shop... less to prime as well between injectors ?

Thank you for your response.
That's a very good point about the
length of the inj. line.
I hadn't thought about that.
Ah, welll, back to the drawing board.
Thanks again.
