It's an open source programming format that easily allows the forums to operate the way that they do.

I hope he does it soon. I still am waiting to get my junk head gasket and several other parts from the for my turbo car. I can't get ahold of that aki dude and he has my intake, I almost have the car welded up...tonight I cut a bunch more out that will be getting replaced, but now that I know what is going on and to grind that galv off it won't be long.

I emailed Marc, basically the conversion from PHPBB2 to PHPBB3 isn't working. My understanding is at this point though the database is still healthy so all the forum data is still there...

Going to see if I can help... I've been going crazy without the other forum!

Hi guys,

It's Marc from vwdiesel.net. I didn't read all the thread but i want to gives you an heads up on the forum.

First, all bills has been paid since the beginning.. The problem was either with the database mySQL or an attack. The forum is getting a lot of hit/day and had to deal wth a lots of spam. Beeing popular is not always easy...

A new forum is installed and the database is almost migrated. a few minor bug to fix and we should be able to be back online by Monday.

Sorry for all the downtime, but it's been a real quest to fix all that.

Don't worry, vwdiesel isn't dead!

PS: All the database ie messages. topics seems to be in good health, so nothing has been lost

It's back up. However, I don't see any way to post replies on threads or start new ones. From the help file, it seems there should be a tab with 'reply' on the threads and yet all I have is 'mark read' and 'print'. I only have 'mark read' when on a specific forum index, no 'post new topic' tab... I'd love to report it to the moderators, but it won't let me do that either... no profile button either so I can edit my preferences...

I just replied to one, I found both a reply and new topic tabs.

I just went back and checked and you just need to be logged in and then the tabs come up
