swap NA injection pump

I got a 1994 1,9 AAZ engine on my 85 vanagon .It worked with my old 1,6NA injection pump until the pump died. Can I replace the camplate to a 12 mm when rebuilding it and run the engine with better torque.I think the camplate of the 1,6NA is a 10mm. Do I have to replace anything else ? What is the setup to make it work well without blue or black exhaust when running?
