replacing turbo, different waste gate actuator

I've got a 97 golf, 1.9 turbo diesel..
the turbo went, - shaft in 3 pieces...
Anyways.. I got a replacement online.. and the waste gate actuator has only 1 vacuum line on it, when the original had 2 - the other connected into the injection pump...
My question is ?? Do I use the old one or the new one, or replace the old one..
