I have a 86 n/a diesel and a 89 gas jetta.
The diesel, motor pulled to replace headgasket. Lots of new parts. Has been setting uncovered for 2 years. Car is okay, interior shot. Installed gasket, new injectors and pump.
The gas , weepy head, fair body, very good interior.
I hate to give them to a scrapper.
If a VW fan wants them, come get them. Probably cannot find a title so do not bother asking.
They are yours for the taking.
About 30 miles from Wilmington, NC.
Today is 8/21. Will call the junk man 8/30.
