Well, I've never heard anyone complain of anything with a 2.5 inch exhaust. The more free flowing the exhaust the better, or so everyone I've ever talked to says.

did you know 1.6gtd pump ?

think that can deliver suficient diesel to 120, 130 hp ?

Yes, that pump should be able to be push enough fuel for 120hp.
'91 Golf gasser converted to a 12mm pump, M-TDI.
'84 1.6TD Rabbit with a VNT-15 turbo, still setup to run on vegetable oil.
'84 GTI with 1.7TD pistons and intercooled.
2003 TDI wagon
2000 TDI Jetta.

Over on the other vwdiesel forum, libbybapa designed a controller for a VNT turbo. Its quite the rig, and he seems to have it working very well. You could check that out, and see if its something like what you are looking for.
