Looks like you're coming along nicely.
I'll have to admit when I first saw the title of the post and I checked the date (April 1st), I thought it smelled a little fishy . But it looks like a pretty ambitious project. Good job.

That would have been a great April fools joke>>. It has been a big project but very fun. I have to watch how much time I spend in the garage or the wife get a little upset if i am out there to much. I am sure you guys know what I am talking about.

This has been a big project it was fun but I will never try this again. I had a lot of time tied up out in the garage and I used a lot of vacation days from work. I do have damn good bragging rights now that I cut the two of them and welded back together. The truck did come out nice, you can't tell it was welded.

I would love to see someone make a crew cab pickup. I'm not saying that you should have or anything like that, but it would be a unique vehicle when it's done. Though to properly finish the inside it would take some custom interior work to get the area behind the rear doors to look nice. I can do mechanical work, but can't seem to get things right when trying to do bodywork. To me, the work you can do on the body of a car is pure art. Well done!

I agree..Well done. But your comment of making a crew cab has allot of merit. All I think needed would be a 2 door for parts and use the windows from a toyota or nissan crew cab with about 3-4 inches of the surrounding metal around them. I think the rest of the sheet metal could be scavenged from the 2 door rabbit.82vdub wrote:I would love to see someone make a crew cab pickup.
