Another Head Gasket Question

Hello...I have an '89 1.7L diesel (with an 068 head) that needs a new head gasket. The only problem is I am in Santiago, Chile and need to order one from abroad and would love to order without taking the head off right now (weeping tiny drops of coolant at the moment, just using it to bum around town at the moment - could take a month to get it here). Anyone know off hand what gasket to use with a 1.6L head, part # 068 103 373M? The gasket in it at the moment is a scrap jobbie, not stock, so I got no reference.

Much obliged for any help...

I have a 1.6 block with 1.7 pistons,.. and a 1.6 head.
I used a metal head gasket for a 1.9 AZZ engine.
I don't think a head gasket for a 1.6 has holes big enough to fit over the pistons.

Hi there,
So I went off and found me a metal 1.9 AAZ gasket and got my head off and there is a 16mm hole that overlaps the edge of the head to the outside. Does yours have this? Renders the gasket useless, unless...a well placed gob of chewing gum?? Everything else was spot on - exactly the same.
Did I get a funky gasket or maybe not really from an AAZ?

The KY block has mechanical lifters?
Sounds like you are talking about the extra oil drain hole in the front of the block, that is common with hydrolic lifter heads/blocks.

I figured a KY block was hydrolic, like the AZZ.
What year was the engine made?
