hello,Im new here.
I am the original owner of a 1979 VW Rabbit diesel
its the only one Ive seen that has the rabbit ear hood ornament out front
I have about 40 K on it when I parked in in 92.
Im wanting to make it roadworthy,but the interior has suffered badly from the elements.
Yes its been an outdoor rabbit all this time. someone broke the windwings and tried to hot wire it when it didnt even have a battery. maybe they brought their own! In either event they never made off with it.

Where can I locate interior stuff like door panels,dash top,the back panel from the rear seat covering the cargo area in back.
So far ,thats it.

Try the MK1 Golf classifieds on vwvortex.com and keep an eye out for one being parted out on this forum too. Ebay is always a possibility too but there's not as much on there as there used to be - probably due to their obscene rise in fees.

Yeah interior isn't diesel specific.
Lots of gasser parts on the vortex and samba that will fit your Rabbit.

If you are looking for new, TMI makes all types of interior seat covers. They also make dash covers, and I think they make carpets. You can find their products on the websites of their retailers. They do not have a direct-sale website for the public.
