Hey.

After rebuilding my Injection pump my car doesnt rev as it used to do. it idles fine. It pulls happily to about 60 km/h and then the power stops suddenly, just like someting is cutting the fuel... .I did unhook the wastegate from the turbo and it acted the same.I turned the max fuel screw in and the result was just more smoke in all revs. also tried to turn the idle screw and max throttle screw. The only thing i havent turned yet is the governor screw. So the question in here is: what does that screw regulate and where to turn it to get my revs back. Also, how can i turn off the original bov ?

Got the accelerator lever on the right splines?

When floored, the lever makes it all the way to the high RPM stop?

Unscrew the blowoff valve screw and dropp a small allen head bolt down in there, then screw the plug back in tight, might be a spring that needs removed.

Can you explain more on how to get to the right spline. I am having a similar prob. I took the top off and forgot to mark it. I started it the first time and it idled fine but would not rev when floored it barley came off idle. So i went in and took the lever off again to adjust it and started the car and it went wot. So im thinking it has to be aligned. Thanks!

Just one spline went from low RPM to high?
The max fuel screw will also keep the RPMs low if turned out too far.
