4sale (MK1) 1982 VW Jetta Diesel $800 obo

(MK1) 1982 VW Jetta w/ 1.6l diesel engine 270,000 miles.

Good: It's been a daily driver. Get's 40mpg, new water pump, thermostat, alternator, belts, all new lights.

Bad: Has below factory standard compression, leaks fuel at seat of 1 injector, battery won't hold a charge even though it's new since august and needs new struts.

It's a cool car and I'd love to keep it to fix it up but being a daily driver, I need something that works now (I'm not driving it with the fuel leak) and I can't afford to have any kind of project car right now.

The car is in Sevierville, TN and I have title in hand.
