new injectors-worse mileage

I put in four rebuilt bosch injectors from (competitor's name removed by moderator) and since then my mileage went from 40 down to 30. any suggestions on how to tackle this? I did not test them before putting them in.

how long of a distance did you measure your economy?

Did the change coincide with your fuel station's change from summer to winter fuel?

New injectors are likely set at the high end of the pressure range; or even above it, with a view that they will settle and reach the required[stated break pressure] in the future...

This will mean that the pump is likely retarded if it has been tuned to inject optimally for your 'old' injectors.

Try advancing pump.

sometimes I've found it takes several tanks of fuel to get a good average after doingca drastic change on my engine.

I adjusted my timing on the pump it was 77 and we bumped it up to 94. After a little test drive it did seem to have a little more pickup when climbing hills and ran a little quieter. we'll see if the mileage gets any better. Thanks for the help.

All else being 'normal' your initial was a wee bit low. Hopefully you will get your improvement. Future tweeks should be 0.05mm or so.
I have been running at 0.72mm, but I'm using injectors set to 125bar.
