WTB - 1980ish Rabbit right front subframe

Stuffed my pickup in a pothole last week, it is a the the insurance shop right now getting appraised. I'm pretty sure they won't want to repair it (it's a fancy car shop) or be able to find parts so:

I hit pretty hard right below the bolt that hold the passenger front control arm. Pushed the wheel back about 50mm at least. I haven't really looked closely, but I'm pretty sure I might have to cut out the front chassis and weld a new one in.

Anyone parting out a car with a good right subframe?

thanks,
Erik

Great. But please hold on for a bit, I might not need it: This is the first accident I have had with collision insurance, it seems that my insurance company wants to total loss but their collision shop is going to try to pull it straight with their frame rig. By chance, I think my insurance sent me to the right shop: they seems to like my truck ("didn't know they made pickup trucks, used to drive a rabbit", etc.) so I think they are looking at it as a challenge.

They are putting it on the rig today, so I should know more by tomorrow.

Thanks.

It took awhile, but they were able to pull out my frame after 8 hours on the frame machine. Seems to go pretty straight down the road, it's too cold and wet to crawl around underneath to inspect. thanks for the offer, fatmobile.

Good to hear, because the original Fatmobile, not my first Rabbit but the first one of mine to run on vegy oil,
is heading to the scrap yard tomorrow.
