I wonder if anybody has ever had to fix a shift linkage on a quantum. My '84 TD let go, and I'm looking to clarify that I'd be getting the proper parts to fix it if I order a shift bushing kit. I stuck photos up here showing what I mean: http://tinyurl.com/quantumshift
Any assurance or insights you might be able to lend are much appreciated! Thanks!

Re: '84 Quantum Shift Linkage bushing parts?
I gave up and ordered the linkage parts; it came with 5 rubbery transparentish pieces. That included two of a part labeled Audi 811711597, and either one would be a perfect fit for the round hole in my photo... problem would be, it should be the smaller different similarly shaped bushing that fits there! The matched pair are for either side of the pivot point shaft that runs through the linkage. Expensive little buggers!
