Heres a website with a list of VW Engine codes. It includes gas and diesel, but if youre like me with a car that didnt come out with a diesel(90 Fox) then it can be a real life saver. engine codes can be found on the inj pump side of the engine block just below the head between cylinders 3 and 4.
