4 speed transmission swapped to 5

I have a 4 speed in my 82 pickup bought another 82 with a 5 speed wanting to put the 5 in my running truck but he plugs for the back up lights ans shift lights are both different the 4 spped has the big plug with 4 terminals the 5 has a little sensor with 2 termials thats it??? is what do you have to do to make that work in the truck with the big 4 prong plug

Find the wires in the plug that go to R and 15, and splice into them to connect to the two terminals on the 5spd.

Hang on to the plug, you might want it for another swap.
