81 rabbit pickup fuel pump relay

Post by rjkuljis »

Trying to find a fuel pump relay switch. Having trouble finding them online. Most of the online sellers that have a fuel pump relay does not differentiate between gas or diesel. I want to make sure I get the right one!

Does anyone know a good source or know if the gas and diesel switches would be the same?

No fuel pump relay on a diesel,.. because there is no electric fuel pump.
Now what you need is a left handed board stretcher, that'll solve it. :P
'91 Golf gasser converted to a 12mm pump, M-TDI.
'84 1.6TD Rabbit with a VNT-15 turbo, still setup to run on vegetable oil.
'84 GTI with 1.7TD pistons and intercooled.
2003 TDI wagon
2000 TDI Jetta.

THanks for the reply! I already have a board stretcher , that was no help. I just saw a bank spot on my fuse panel labeled fuel pump and no switch. I know the fuel pump only has the solenoid that is electric, but there are definietly wires going in where the fuse should be. Any case, I figured out the battery was so dead it was the real issue
