Just bought a 2000 Jetta TDI for my wife, found out the cruise light does not come on when cruise control operating,everthing works ok.Light does not test when key turned on. Still waiting on my repair manual,wondering if light is an led or bulb that can be replaced? Any tips on how to get the instrument cluster out?or is it more trouble than its worth to fix it. Thanks

on the 2000 model the cruise do es not have a light. their is a place in the dash for one but it was not put in to a later year modle.
