hi all, i need some advice, i have a golf tdi 90bhp, runs fine but have noticed every so often i can be driving it and it feel gutless like theres no turbo, i get no warning lights. If i pull over and stop the engine for a few seconds and restart it's then fine again.

Any suggestions???? turbo? sensor?

Hi, this sounds like the dreaded "limp" mode, not your turbo. On mine this was caused by the massflow sensor and cleared up when I played with the connector for the sensor and cycled the engine a few times to put the sensor through it's cook-off cleaning. I think the FAQs address this.
