And so today, the tail of Hagar and his bunny comes to and end. We will all be poorer for his passing.

We all knew this day was coming. Still, it's very sad news. Rest in peace Hagar.

the next pint I hoist will be to his memory

I found his posts to be interesting, and his take on life enjoyable.

we are poorer as a VW diesel community for having lost him.

Sad news indeed. I for one will miss reading the saga of the "Old Dane". I found his musings both entertaining and thought provoking. I never meet him but its almost like I did know him. Hagar lift a pint with the diesel gods tonight for me.

Just heard the news today. I will never forget our diesel chats that we had in Powell River. You will be missed old friend.

I know I'm behind the times here, but I registered on the forums simply for the opportunity to say goodbye to Hagar. I learned much from you, and the world is a worse place for having lost you. Goodbye, good sir, and Godspeed.

I'll tilt a glass in your honor tonight.

To Hagar!

Hello everyone, I'm brand new to this forum and also brand new to VW Diesels (But not new to VW's, been an old Beetle/Bus and recently a MK1/MK3 owner). I've been helping with Hagars estate and I've picked up his old diesel rabbit, it's been sitting since he passed so it's a little dirty and the brakes have seized, but jumping it it fired right up. I've counted many, many mods done to this car and the others he has around the property. Anyways just thought I would post here and let everyone know whats happening with his car, I couldn't see it go to the scrapper.
