well what can i say, i love it ...... hear is the story my 82 vanagon has a 1.6 na with a newer head . will this motor drop in to an 86 jetta???????
now for another twist i am looking at that 93 jetta that ryan listed in for sales. and was wondering what is better and what is easier , the 1.9tdaaz out of the 93 jetta or the 1.6td out of the 86 jetta for my 82 vanagon???
and will the 1.6td drop into the 93 jetta? and no i am not nuts ha ha .....
this all started with the vanagon tranny problems and wanting a more drivable van. one way or another the van is getting a hart transplant. the motor out of the 93 has some crank problems and maybe head to but i have all winter to work on it and also find a dk tranny for my vanagon....
the 86 jetta is abit ruff but if i stick the 1.6na in it, my son who will start to drive this year may just fit right in and the 1.6td into the 93 jetta if it will fit is for me to drive. wow maybe i am nuts o well like i said i love it . oh ya the wife gets to drive the 01 jetta tdi. any one dizzy yet.
