I did end up re-timing it down to factory specs (.85) but ended up putting the pressure back down again. Due to the internal wear on the pump, my timing ended up being much much worse.
I wouldn't start on all four cylinders in the cold (40*) and it would knock badly all the time. Even when it was warmed up completely it would knock.
Adjusted back down to 30psi it works perfectly again. It was at 20-25 when I started so this is a slight improvement.
