adding gauges to a dasher

I am planning on vacuum gauge, maybe an oil pressure gauge, a fuel tempature gauge, etc. Most impost for me is the vacuum gauge.
My question is where do you come thru the firewall?
I have looked up and down, I don't see any goumets that I can use.
The vacuum gauge would be for the fuel filter.
Since I am not a machinist nor do I know any I would be "T"ing into fuel line right after the fuel filter. then running the vacuum tubing into the car.
Any thoughts on this although my main concern is getting thru the firewall.
